Date: Thursday, April 8, 6 – 7:15 PM

The Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics is organizing a panel event where industry experts will provide an overview of the potentially intractable issues as well as trade-offs surrounding platform competition, misinformation and free speech. The panel event will give the participants an appreciation for the nuances as well as demystify some of the common terms used (such as Section 230) and potential changes to antitrust laws.
