Panelists Include:

Jon Allsop of the Columbia Journalism Review writes The Media Today, a daily newsletter. He previously was a Delacorte magazine fellow at CJR and has contributed to The Atlantic, The Nation and other publications.

Eric Deggans is NPR's first full-time TV critic and a media analyst and contributor at MSNBC and NBC News. He is author of Race-Baiter: How the Media Wields Dangerous Words to Divide a Nation.

Soledad O’Brien hosts and produces Matter of Fact with Soledad O'Brien, a weekly talk show. She has anchored shows on CNN, MSNBC and NBC, contributed to other broadcast networks and PBS NewsHour, and was special correspondent on Al Jazeera America’s America Tonight.

Moderator:

Betty Wong retired as Global Managing Editor of Reuters after 23 years in roles including Americas managing editor, global equities editor and senior Wall Street correspondent. She previously was a reporter for The Wall Street Journal covering white-collar crime and the federal courts.
